This is best done with the parts out of the grill. Verify your model number. The information shown below for Viking cooking grids is the latest we have and believed to be accurate.
NOTE: For cooking grids, the critical dimension is front-to-back. Cooking grids can be an inch or so narrower (side-to-side) and still be fully functional.
