MEASURE. When looking for replacement parts for your Great Outdoors grill, we highly recommend that you measure your original parts and compare them to what we have listed on the pages that follow. This is best done with the old parts out of the grill. For cooking grids, the surface where you put your food, the critical dimension is front-to-back. These parts can be an inch or so narrower (side-to-side) and still be fully functional. The same is also true of rock grates for holding ceramic briquettes or lava rock. If your Great Outdoors grill has Flame Tamers or heat plates, whose primary function is to vaporize drippings before they fall onto the burner, they also can be a bit wider or narrower than the original so long as they fit in the grill and cover the burner.

We have Great Outdoors grill parts for models not shown. Manufacturers commonly append prefixes and suffixes to their model numbers to indicate whether it is natural gas or LP. Or whether the grillhead is mounted on a post, cart or patio pedestal. Sometimes they add a few letters to indicate the color, such as BLK for black, or BL for blue. As a result of these and other variations, the same basic model will be sold with a number of different model numbers, but they frequently use the same grillparts.
