FAQ - What is an OPD

Help Center - Frequently Asked Questions

What is an OPD?

Under construction

NOTE: An O.P.D. cylinder is easily distinguished by its triangular hand wheel valve. (Figure 3)

If your LP gas tank contains an OPD, do not exchange it unless the exchange LP cylinder is also equipped with an OPD. Otherwise you will lose the OPD (Overfilling Prevention Device) feature. If there is not an LP cylinder available for exchange equipped with an OPD, we recommend that you have your cylinder filled at an authorized LP gas dealer by a qualified attendant. Rises up while filling then stops when full.
